In the software team, we are always working to achieve the highest standards in terms of security, reliability and sustainability. In addition, we are responsible for the continuous development of the software to introduce new features and improvements. This further optimises the user experience and contributes to Numbat’s overall vision of environmentally friendly mobility.
Among other things, we have successfully implemented the agile Scrum framework in the software department and have now scaled up to 3 Scrum teams. By introducing Scrum, we were not only able to establish a more efficient and transparent way of working, but also raise collaboration and communication between the self-organised teams to a new level. We were also able to distribute the different areas of our broad tech stack so that the teams can specialise in a specific area.
To support the digital business processes, we have implemented a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. We set up cloud servers, networks and databases and integrated security measures including back-up solutions.
Based on real-time data, we were able to minimise charging times and increase the efficiency of our charging solution. We used algorithms and AI to take factors such as energy costs, grid load and vehicle availability into account in order to dynamically adjust the recharging performance of the Numbats.
We have created automation systems to support the commissioning of the Numbats and ensure their functionality. These control the establishment of a secure data connection, the monitoring and linking of related system and location data, as well as rapid problem solving.
