In the Procurement department, we are responsible for purchasing and the associated logistical handling of materials, services and technologies required for Numbat. We identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor supply chains, handle operational order processing from ordering to goods receipt and optimise purchasing processes in order to guarantee quality and save costs.
The Procurement department has been restructured and has grown considerably. As a result, we are able to purchase at improved conditions and with greater speed, which enables us to support other departments more efficiently in the procurement of products. The following milestones have already been achieved:
Timely supply of materials and general contractors for the construction of new fast-charging stations. The aim is to avoid interruptions to operations and ensure a continuous supply to our locations.
Introduction of a transport and warehouse management system to optimise logistics processes. The new system improves the efficiency of warehouse management and the transport of goods. The result is a seamless, automated and efficient logistics operation.
